GTS opened the annual TIFE 2024 in Taipei

Taipeh, 25th of September 2024
Today Andreas Schneider, CEO of Global Textile Scheme GmbH opened the annual TIFE 2024 conference as its keynote speaker.
The title of his speech was: European ESPR legislation and Digital Product Passport (DPP) Insights on relevant activities, consequences, challenges & chances.

In the evening the host of the conference, the Taiwan Textile Research Center signed a memorandum of understanding with Global Textile Scheme GmbH with the following content:
Recognizing TTRI’s leadership in textile technology and innovation, and GTS’s influence in the development of global textile industry standards, both parties agree to the following Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to promote the sustainable development of the global textile industry.
- Assist TTRI in participating in the development of industry standards for the textile value chain with GTS.
- Both parties will exchange information regarding textile industry technologies, standards, and innovation trends.
- Collaboratively assist Taiwan’s textile and apparel industry in understanding and DPP operation processes and systems for the Digital Product Passport (DPP)
This Memorandum of understanding shall be in force for a period of five years from the date of its enactment.
We are looking forward to a long period of fruitful collaboration.
